The oldest and most exclusive gentleman’s club in London, White’s – located on St James’s Street – is a British institution that has been frequented by Prime Ministers and royalty since it was founded in 1693.
The historic Grade I Listed façade, made primarily of Portland stone, received a scaffold-free clean by façade gommage® in just one day.
Following the clean, Thomann-Hanry®’s Restoration team refurbished and redecorated the windows and other external timber from MEWPs.
Our stonemasons carried out localised repairs across the façade. Metal railings were redecorated as well as the façade’s lower levels, which are made from painted rusticated blocks. The balcony asphalt and lead work were replaced, and lime render was used to restore plinths and piers across the front of the building.
