Scaffold Free Delight
Unlike a traditional façade clean which requires the need to encase the building in unsightly, intrusive, and costly scaffolding, Thomann-Hanry®’s ‘façade gommage®’ system offers a convenient and effective method to gently remove dirt and grime without the need to scaffold.
Ultrafine particles of chemically inert Aluminium Silicate are projected under low pressure from a vacuum cabin mounted on a hydraulic boom. The powder gently rubs away the build-up of dirt and grime, to reveal the pristine surface below. The used powder is then sucked back into the cabin, where it is captured in a water curtain before being filtered and recycled.
The fully mobile platform also allows for a façade clean which can be conducted at a time which is convenient to you and your business, with out of standard business hours, weekend, and bank holiday cleaning all an option. With no scaffolding used, this can result in your day-to-day operations not being impeded by unsightly scaffolding and construction debris.
